Successful cad technician web
40+ Materials
Supplying 8+ Industries

We offer CAD Services

Alongside material supply we can offer additional services such as CAD designing. If you can provide a dimensional drawing, template or even a sketch our CAD team can digitise the shape and turn your concept into a finished product creating endless opportunities.

Our CAD team aren’t just highly skilled in CAD, they also have an in-depth knowledge of engineering practices so they can provide practical, workable solutions.

We also offer additional services

Our cutting facilities include CNC routers, profilers, and 6-axis robots.

We also offer in house injection foaming, custom mouldings, and bespoke services where possible enabling the development and progress of custom designs through to custom manufacture.

We support all stages of production, provide technical support, engineering solutions and expert advice. We can also outsource additional services such as coating, laminating, water jet cutting etc.

Whatever your foam needs we may have the answer, please contact us with your queries, we are always happy to help.

Explore Our Wide Range of Material

Tricast

Tricast is our range of rigid polyurethane (PU) foam sheets with the exception of Tricast 2T which is polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam. The Tricast range is highly versatile offering a variety of possible uses.

Commonly used as core materials, ranging in density from 32kg/m3 to 96kg/m3 all densities can be used as shaping media for models or GRP formers, insulation, floatation, even as a structural part of a composite.

  • Light material used in stringers and trapezoidal sections
  • Ideal core material to support weight of glass & resin
  • Basic core structural material suitable for hand laminating resins
  • Superior buoyancy material for lightweight solid shapes
  • Suitable for refrigeration, doors and panels
Tancast

Tancast is our range of polyurethane (PU) foam, Tancast can be easily machined enabling small prototypes to be made and can also be used in the model making industry.

Densities range from 128 kg/m3 to 320 kg/m3 each has a variety of physical properties, one of which could be suitable for your application.

Tripor

Tripor is our range of a two-part liquid polyurethane foam system, designed for easy use by inexperienced operators with simple tools. Liquid components A and B when mixed, react to form a foam structure.

  • Lightweight mouldings or castings where applications require a combination of physical strength characteristics and good thermal insulation
  • Surface damage, cut errors and pattern changes are easily filled, rectified, and repaired
  • Building insulation and refrigeration doors & panels
  • Lightweight infill of fiberglass or plastic components
  • Filling of large voids where the foams balanced flow behaviour leads to good cell structure and adhesion to a wide range of substrates

3A Composites

Trident Foams is proud to be the official UK distributor of the AIREX® and BALTEK® range of products.

The AIREX® range of products and their applications now benefits from Tridents logistical systems and all its cutting and shaping facilities which can be applied to the AIREX® materials.

There are several finishing options available for the AIREX® and BALTEK® products. View our ‘Finishing Options’ section.

PMI & PVC

PMI is a specially developed foam for use as a structural core which is ideal for vacuum infusion processing. PMI is utilized in the aerospace industry and can be used in the manufacture of sports equipment with resin injection processing to reduce the weight. With PMI it is possible to produce sandwich components in a single step (co-curing), resulting in reduced overall production time.

PVC offers optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio, excellent impact strength, thermal insulation, low resin absorption, water resistance, and high fatigue resistance. It also has great fire resistance and can self-extinguish. PVC is easy to work it can be rolled, cut etc. PVC can be applied to different industries such as Marine, Rail, Renewable energy, sports etc.
